1.What is the difference between a software release and a loadline?
A loadline is a variant within a software release for a planned delivery of market-specific functionality that must be independently supported, maintained, and configuration managed.
2.How do I close multiple CRs against the same build all at once?
a) Log-in to CQ.
b) You can use any query that shows the CRs you want as a s subset. Or you can use a query that lists all the CRs in PERFORMED state whose actual-target matches the desired build.
c) Select the CRs from the list (you can use the standard windows ctrl-click and shift-click mechanisms to highlight multiple CRs in the query window).
d) Take the "close" action using the drop-down menu on "Action" button in the GUI.
e) CQ will then prompt you to make sure this is what you want. Confirm your action appropriately.
3.How can I "unclose" a CR?
Once a "close" action is executed on a CR, it cannot be "unclosed" or reverted. Only the CQAdmin has privileges to so, unless the CR had no work done on it. A request to CQAdmin must be made in such a case.
